This image is a result of experimenting with the raytrace material.

The book actually exists (©Addison Wesley) and it's measures and cover have been put into the scene to have something in the scene besides the glasses. The placement of the glasses almost took as long as designing and modelling them. The refraction of the left lens shows a certain part of the book's covertext reading "Funktione", due to the refraction very much resembling the word "Funktioniert", the german word for "it works".

Building the scene took four days due to the rendertime necessarry for the raytrace material.
