3D First Person Shooters became popular and Jhary started telling me about how brilliantly they did the graphics. Well, I was not that baffled by those game's renderings and showing what an amatuer could do with little efford I did this. The objects textures are made from images I found on the net. The light-shafts in the ceiling and the plates on the floor are boolean objects (causing the high poly-count). There are actually 6 lights on the wall (and 8 such light shafts in the ceiling) to achieve the lights coverage in this scene. All lights make heavy use of attentuation, carefully measured to fit the scene. The relatively heavy face-count and the really complex lights made the test-shots take longer than estimated, totalling construction time to five days.
