Here is a quick tutorial for this, and I hope it solves the things you need to do.
- Create a sphere rad 38 segs 30 name eyeball
- Create a sphere rad 42 segs 30 hemisphere .5 name up lid
repeat name low lid
- Center both up and low lid to eyeball, rotate them along Z to lid positions.
- Create sphere rad 6.2 segs 30 hemisphere .6 name pupil
- Center pupil to eyeball, move along Z till pupil sticks out eyeball, but with some left in the eyeball
- Link pupil to eyeball
- Create dummy at distances from eyeball so that two eyes can focus on it and not cross. name eyeball control
- Apply Look At Controller to eyeball and link to dummy object set to Y Axis Now eyeball will look at dummy and blink by rotating lids on Z axis
- Create FFD Box Space Warp (not modifier) 84, 84, 84, 3x3x3 (size is double rads of lids spheres)
- Select eyeball, up and low lids, pupil and bind to FFD space warp
- Create a dummy name main control, select eyeball, up and low lids, and
space warp (not pupil and eyeball controller) and link to dummy object
Now that's it, you should be able to edit the space warp to any shape or size, no
matter what it is, and the eyeball, lids and pupil will follow it.
